Mobile Forklift Engineer

Marble Talent Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join a well-established and growing materials handling business, covering customers across the North West. As a Mobile Forklift Engineer, you will travel to customer sites across the North West, carrying out servicing, planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and fault finding on a range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment. Key responsibilities - * Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and materials handling equipment. * Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults. * Carry out planned preventative maintenance and safety inspections. * Respond to breakdowns and minimise customer downtime. * Complete accurate service reports and maintenance records. * Identify parts requirements and order parts when required. * Build strong working relationships with customers. * Manage your own diary and workload. * Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard. Personal Requirements - * Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Engineer or similar. * Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience. * Previous experience working on forklift trucks or materials handling equipment. * Good knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * A professional, reliable and proactive approach. * Ability to work independently. * Full UK Driving Licence.
