Electrician (Social Housing) Covering: Wolverhampton, Cannock, Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent & Walsall Pay: £46,800-£52,000 p/annum (Self-Employed/CIS) Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm Contract: Long-Term Ongoing Work Experienced Electrician Required – Social Housing Contracts AllPro Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable contractor for an experienced Electrician to join a team delivering planned and responsive maintenance works across social housing properties throughout the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for consistent, long-term work on established contracts. Key Responsibilities * Carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and installation work within occupied and void social housing properties * Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues * Replacing sockets, switches, lighting, consumer units and other electrical components * Installing and upgrading electrical circuits where required * Carrying out testing and inspection work in line with current regulations * Completing minor electrical works associated with kitchen and bathroom refurbishments * Ensuring all work complies with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and health & safety requirements * Completing job sheets and relevant certification accurately * Delivering a high standard of workmanship while providing excellent customer service to tenants Requirements * Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification * 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification * Proven experience working within domestic or social housing environments * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Ability to work independently and manage your own workload * Full UK Driving Licence * Own van and tools are essential What's on Offer? * £46,800-£52,000 p/annum (Self-Employed/CIS) * Monday to Friday working pattern * 8:00am – 4:00pm * Long-term, ongoing work * Consistent workload across established social housing contracts * Immediate start available * Opportunity to work with a respected contractor on secure, long-term projects If you're an experienced Electrician looking for reliable, long-term work across the Midlands, we'd like to hear from you.
