1:1 Early Years Teaching Assistant

Are you a caring and adaptable Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? We are looking for dedicated SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work in Early Years settings across Barry, providing vital support for pupils with complex needs. Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 support for pupils with ALN and complex needs Assist with communication, social, and emotional development Support learning activities under teacher and SENCO guidance Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment Requirements: Experience supporting children with ALN/complex needs (Early Years desirable) Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach Enhanced DBS (Update Service or willing to apply) Two professional references What we offer: Competitive pay rates Flexible work across local schools Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
