Multi Trade Operative Location: North of Thames - Havering, Barking & Dagenham, Newham, Hackney, Enfield & Waltham Forest Salary: £38,000 per annum Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm We are seeking an experienced Multi Trade Operative to carry out reactive repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties. Role includes: Carrying out a range of repairs across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, painting and decorating, and basic plastering Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently on first visit where possible Installing, repairing, and maintaining fixtures and fittings within residential properties Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with company procedures Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and regulations Providing a professional, customer-focused service to tenants and residents Accurately completing job reports and updating works via a smartphone app What's on offer: Company van and fuel card BYOD allowance (£20 per month) Requirements: Experience working as a Multi Trade Operative within social housing, property maintenance, or a similar environment Competence across a variety of trades, with a strong core trade background Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload Own tools and confidence using a smartphone app for job management Full UK driving licence A drug and alcohol test will be carried out on the day of induction
