Yard Shunter Our client, a respected leader in the commercial vehicle industry, and we're looking for an experienced Yard Shunter to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent. Working across our busy 15-acre site, you'll play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly. What You'll Be Doing Moving commercial vehicles between several local yards Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe Parking and positioning vehicles efficiently Carrying out vehicle checks, including fuel levels and condition inspections Preparing vehicles for delivery Recording vehicle and trailer movements accurately What We're Looking For Class 1 (HGV) licence - essential Experience driving commercial vehicles and working in a similar yard or logistics environment Knowledge of vehicle handling and yard operations Ability to work safely, efficiently, and under pressure Strong attention to detail and communication skills Forklift or crane licence would be an advantage, but not essential What's on Offer Salary of £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience Full training and ongoing support Long-term career opportunities within a growing business Monday to Friday working hours, with no weekend shifts Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45am - 5:45pm If you are interested in this role, please click apply, or you can call Pertemps Stoke on (phone number removed)
