Family Solicitor

Our client is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE to join its established Family team in Romford, Essex. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of privately funded family matters, including work for high-net-worth individuals, while contributing to the development of the department and supporting junior staff. The Role • Manage a caseload of approximately 20–25 private family matters • Advise on divorce, separation and financial matters • Handle children matters and cohabitation disputes • Deal with TOLATA matters and domestic violence injunctions • Advise on pre- and post-nuptial agreements • Manage complex matters independently from instruction through to conclusion • Build and maintain strong client and referral relationships • Support and train paralegals, trainees and junior solicitors • Contribute to the supervision and management of the Family department Requirements • Minimum 3 years' PQE in private Family Law • Broad experience across private family matters • Strong privately funded caseload experience; legal aid experience is not required • Ability to manage complex matters autonomously • Previous experience supervising or training junior staff • Strong leadership and decision-making skills • Excellent communication and organisational abilities • Commercially minded with a focus on client care and business development • Ambitious and motivated to progress into a supervisory position What's on Offer • 4 or 5 day working week • Junior staff, paralegal and secretarial support • Very generous profit-related bonus scheme • Pension contributions • Parking • Reasonable billing targets • Clear career progression • Additional discretionary Christmas/New Year leave • Additional day off for your birthday • Staff social events • Hybrid working Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear IT Recruitment Limited.
