Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to work with an established logistics business based in Oldham, with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate. Our client operates a busy distribution operation offering a mix of multidrop and distance delivery work, with consistent Monday to Friday hours and overtime available. What's on offer? Temporary to permanent opportunity Monday to Friday, 6am starts with an average 3pm finish £15 to £16 per hour (£16.81 to £17.93 inclusive of holiday pay) Overtime is readily availableAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include: Completing a mix of multidrop and longer distance deliveries Offloading deliveries by manual handling and forklift Completing all delivery paperwork and documentation accurately Maintaining safe and professional driving standards at all timesTo be considered as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need: A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes Good physical fitness due to the manual handling element of the roleInterested in this HGV Class 2 Driver role?
