Practice Nurse – Ongoing Locum Opportunity Clinical System: EMIS Web Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to provide ongoing locum support within a busy primary care setting while the practice recruits permanently. There is also potential for the role to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. The role offers flexibility, with sessions available across two practice sites and a requirement of 1-2 days per week. Working Hours * Between 08:00 – 18:00 * Flexible working arrangements may be considered Responsibilities * Chronic Disease Management (CDM) * Travel vaccinations * Childhood immunisations * Cervical cytology (smears) * Wound care and dressings * General Practice Nurse duties * Accurate clinical documentation using EMIS Web Desired Skills * Experience in asthma management would be advantageous but is not essential * Strong clinical knowledge within primary care * Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team What’s on Offer * Ongoing locum opportunity with potential for a permanent position * Flexible 1-2 day per week commitment * Work across two nearby practice sites * Supportive clinical environment Requirements * Current NMC registration * Previous UK General Practice experience * Proficiency with EMIS Web * Experience in childhood immunisations, travel vaccinations, smears, and dressings This opportunity is ideal for a Practice Nurse seeking flexible, ongoing work with the possibility of securing a permanent role in the future
