Sheet Metal Worker Near Redditch Permanent Late Shift From £14 per hour + shift allowance Overview EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a reputable engineering company located south of Birmingham which is a globally recognised, market-leading precision engineering/manufacturing business that supports world-renowned industry leaders. As part of the company's growth, our client is looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join the team on a permanent basis. What's in it for you? * Stability / Longevity: Permanent * Competitive salary: From £14.00 per hour plus shift allowance * Various shifts available: * Late shift, 16.30 to 2.30 (Monday to Thursday) with designated breaks * Benefits: * Holiday entitlement * Contributory pension scheme * Sick pay * Internal & external training and development opportunities Your responsibilities include: * Working with various metals and performing various Sheet Metal / Fabrication / Metal Working techniques, such as riveting, spot welding, bonding, and brazing, to complete the required components * Carrying out a wide range of manufacturing methods, such as hand forming, grinding, and stretching, for the construction of each part * Working to tight tolerances using thin-gauge materials such as aluminium * Reading and working off complex engineering drawings Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate: * Previous Sheet Metal or fabrication experience * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Ability to use hand and air tools effectively & safely * Previous experience of deburring, fettling, polishing, linishing, etc If you are interested in the opportunity of a Sheet Metal Worker and believe you meet the illustrated criteria, apply today to join our clients’ growing team located near Redditch.
