Senior Depot Manager

We are recruiting for a Senior Depot Manager role in the Portsmouth area. Our client in the construction hire sector is seeking an experienced Depot Manager to take full responsibility for a fast paced depot. More details below: Job Title: Senior Depot Manager Location: Portsmouth area Salary: £55-65K basic (OTE £70K) + car + excellent benefits Main Duties: Managing the day-to-day operations of the depot Recruiting and mentoring staff Managing a customer base and developing plans to increase business Maximising growth and profitability Ensuring that high levels of service are maintained Holding team meetings Liaising with key customers to make sure they’re satisfied with the depot’s performance Managing stock levels Monitoring health and safety in the depot Full P&L responsibility Requirements: Experience of managing a large team in a fast paced operational environment Experience of management in a busy sales led, growing company  Able to recruit across multiple roles Exceptional people management skills - able to mentor, develop and train a team to a high level Ability to demonstrate business acumen Previous experience of a senior management role within the construction hire sector
