Property Officer

Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Property Officer to work with our client based in the Greater Manchester area on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Overview: The role holder will be responsible for overseeing a designated block, carrying out regular property and communal area inspections, completing weekly meter readings and identifying and reporting any repairs or maintenance issues. Main Duties: * Managing and overseeing a designated block * Carrying out regular inspections of properties and communal areas * Completing weekly meter readings and maintaining accurate records * Carrying out routine checks to ensure properties and communal areas are maintained to a good standard * Identifying and reporting repairs, maintenance issues and other defects * Liaising with relevant teams and contractors regarding repairs and maintenance requirements * Monitoring the condition of properties and communal areas and escalating issues where necessary * Maintaining accurate records of inspections, meter readings and reported issues Essential Criteria: * Previous experience within a property, housing, estate, scheme or building-based role * Experience carrying out property or building inspections * Good attention to detail and the ability to identify maintenance issues * Comfortable carrying out regular meter readings and maintaining accurate records * Good communication and organisational skills * Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle If your skills match the above criteria, please apply with your up-to-date CV
