Trainee Robot & Automation Engineer – Bedford We are supporting our client in the search for a Trainee Robot & Automation Engineer to join their team in Bedford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background or keen interest in robotics, automation, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or automated manufacturing to develop a hands-on career in an innovative technical environment. You will support experienced engineers with robot programming, offline simulation, commissioning, system integration, testing and documentation across a range of automated manufacturing projects. Full training and mentoring will be provided, making this role ideal for an enthusiastic entry-level candidate who is eager to learn and progress. What They offer: * Salary of £30,000–£35,000, dependent on experience and qualifications * Paid additional hours * Structured training and career development * Hands-on experience with leading robotics and automation technologies * A supportive, collaborative working environment What they are looking for: * A degree, diploma, or apprenticeship in Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation Engineering or a related field. * Basic understanding of, and keen interest in, robotic systems and programming principles. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
