Assembly Operative

As an Assembly Operative, you’ll work within a busy manufacturing environment where the standard of your work directly contributes to the quality of products leaving the site.  You’ll be involved in hands-on production work including assembling components, preparing materials, trimming leather and fabrics and checking your own work against the required specifications.  What’s in it for you Starting pay of £12.80 per hour Potential pay increases up to £14.00 per hour Weekly pay Early finish every Friday at 1:30pm Consistent Monday to Friday working pattern Varied hands-on work across preparation, production and quality checking Your responsibilities as Assembly Operative Assemble and trim seats accurately to drawing specifications Use manual and electric tools safely to complete production tasks Check completed work to ensure required quality standards are achieved Prepare materials ready for the production process Trim leather and fabric components accurately Identify quality issues before products progress through production What we’re looking for in a Assembly Operative Previous assembly, manufacturing or production experience Experience using manual and electric tools Ability to work accurately from drawings or specifications Experience with trimming, fabrics, leather or similar materials would be advantageous Understanding of manufacturing quality control processes Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–5:00pm; Friday, 8:00am–1:30pm.  If you’re looking for consistent weekday work where your practical skills and attention to quality will be valued, apply today for this Assembly Operative position.
