Production Technician Location: Paulerspury, Northamptonshire (Onsite) Salary: £27,000–£30,000 Type: Full-time, Permanent My client, a specialist manufacturer of precision measurement instrumentation, is looking for a Production Technician to join its growing production team. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to work on high-precision electronic products while developing new technical skills within a collaborative engineering environment. Key Responsibilities * Assemble mechanical and electronic components to a high standard * Carry out soldering and precision production work * Maintain accurate production records and test documentation * Prepare products for packing and dispatch * Use hand tools and production equipment safely and effectively * Collaborate with colleagues throughout the manufacturing process * Support continuous improvement across production activities Requirements * Previous production, assembly, or manufacturing experience * Soldering experience or a willingness to learn * Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused approach * Good computer skills, including basic Microsoft Excel * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Comfortable carrying out repetitive, precision-based work * Interest in electronics or engineering desirable What’s on Offer * £27k–£30k salary * Onsite role in Paulerspury, Northamptonshire * Discretionary profit-sharing bonus * Generous contributory pension * 23 days holiday plus bank holidays * Flexible working hours and free on-site parking * Opportunity to develop skills in electronics, PCB repair, schematics, and mechanical design
