Mechanical Commissioning Engineer – Data Centre – Finland Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Helsinki, Finland. Responsibilities Mechanical Systems Commissioning Lead the commissioning and testing of complex mechanical systems across a hyperscale data centre project, including HVAC, cooling systems, pipework, pumps, and associated MEP infrastructure. Commissioning Coordination Coordinate commissioning activities with construction teams, specialist subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives to ensure systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project milestones. Quality & Compliance Assurance Ensure all mechanical installations meet project specifications, design requirements, quality standards, and data centre industry expectations through inspections, reviews, and closeout of outstanding issues. Testing & Troubleshooting Execute functional testing, performance verification, and fault finding activities to ensure mechanical systems operate reliably under operational and emergency conditions. Handover & Documentation Manage commissioning documentation, test reports, snagging records, and handover packs to support the successful completion and operational readiness of the facility. Requirements Must have relevant degree level qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or similar Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar position on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres) EU Passport is preferred Benefits €85,000 - €100,000 + Accommodation, Rotation, Flights, Travel, Healthcare, Pension, Overseas Allowance
