Plant Fitter / HGV Technician Darley Dale | £20.69 per hour | Monday-Friday | 07:30-16:00 Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Plant Fitter, HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Mechanic or Mobile Plant Engineer to join a long-established heavy industrial manufacturer in Darley Dale. This is a temp to perm days-based role maintaining a fleet of commercial vehicles, mobile plant and heavy industrial equipment. Duties include: Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Servicing commercial vehicles and mobile plant Mechanical fault finding and repairs Hydraulic, pneumatic and braking systems Breakdown repairs Welding and fabrication (desirable) Completing maintenance records Working safely within a heavy industrial environment You'll need: Experience as a Plant Fitter, HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Mobile Plant Engineer, Mechanical Fitter or Agricultural Engineer Strong mechanical fault-finding skills Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Full UK Driving Licence NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Plant, Mechanical or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance is desirable but not essential.
