HGV Technician Salford, United Kingdom · fleet · Full-time Description HGV Technician We currently have a vacancy for a HGV Technician to join our busy Salford Depot. Shift Patten Week 1 = Monday to Friday 07:00am - 15:30pm Week 2 = Monday to Friday 12:30pm - 21:00pm 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings 08:00am to 12:00 Midday Basic Salary = £44000 + Overtime = £50k to £60k The HGV Technician Role ·Complete service and repair documentation and records in accordance with company requirements and standards ·Overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and other workshop equipment ·Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, both electronically and paper based Requirements The core skills and qualifications required for a HGV Technician are: ·Appropriate technical qualifications. ·Time Served Tech or NVQ C&G Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repairs ·MOT preparation experience Benefits ·Annual pay rises ·25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays ·Company profit-share scheme paid (Following qualifying period - further details to be discussed upon application). ·Regular overtime offered at time and a half & DOUBLE-TIME rate! ·Approachable, professional management team ·Job stability - This is a cash-rich company that has been in operation for almost 70 years, and are industry leaders! ·Death in Service Pay-out (Life Insurance) Annual Salary X 2 (after 12 months qualifying period) ·Aviva Smart Health - Virtual GP Appointments, Mental Health Support, Health Checks and Expert medical advice - from day one ·Contributory Pension at 3% - effective immediately upon commencement of your employment ·Training & professional development opportunities, paid for by the company
