Senior Field Engineer / Site Lead Key Responsibilities In this role you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance requirements and performing inspections, evaluations and inventory. * Leading teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision * ⁠Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and safety audits * ⁠Installing and maintaining equipment at both a local and global level, as per design packages * ⁠Programming and installing head-end equipment for access control, intrusion detection and CCTV systems * ⁠Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and / or hardware at both a local and global level * ⁠Leading on-site software commissioning and testing * ⁠Leading inspections, evaluations and inventory * Performing take-off project drawings * ⁠⁠Creating, documenting and tracking RFIs * ⁠Design assistance and feedback * ⁠Documenting daily reports and project progress * ⁠Communicating project and team member issues / concerns to management * ⁠Creating and managing project schedule integration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systems * ⁠Forecasting and managing project labour hours * Communicating effectively with Supervisors and subordinates * ⁠Guiding and mentoring Technicians Experience Required * 8+ years of electronics installation and / or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs (with at least 3 years of this experience being within the Electronic Security Systems space) * Strong oral, written and presentation skills * Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams * ⁠Demonstrated time management and organisation skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives * Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills are a plus Key Requirements * ⁠Hold a valid driver's license; the position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle * Happy to stay away from home for 4-8 weeks (on average) at any one time Education HS diploma or GED Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) / graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program / graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program Qualifications Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS and CCTV systems (C-CURE, Lenel, Identiv / Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, Bosch DIVAR, Aiphone, FFT, Windows operating systems) and experience in installing these systems.
