About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining the commercial team of reputable Main Contractor who have a turnover of nearly £900m. You will be the commercial lead on a £30m commercial cut & carve scheme in Central London where you will be based. The company are privately owned and have been growing in the construction industry for over 150 years with over 5 offices across the UK. They predominately focus on leisure, lab, student accommodation, healthcare, education and commercial projects valued from £20m - £100m. Key Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor Include but not limited to: Monitor costs against project budget Identify commercial risks and opportunities Implement procurement strategies Negotiate and agree final accounts Manage change control Ensure compliance with contractual notice requirements Produce monthly valuations and applications for payment Build and maintain strong relationships with clients Mentor junior members of staff Key Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor Live within commutable distance to Central London Experience as a commercial lead at a main contractor on projects valued £15m+ Ideally gained experience on cut & carve or commercial projects Degree educated in a construction related subject What we offer for Senior Quantity Surveyor Salary of up to £95k Car Allowance 6% pension 33 days of annual leave Company profit share Enhanced maternity and paternity pay Private healthcare Life assurance Access to retail discounts Long term career progression If you want to hear more about this Senior Quantity Surveyor role, please apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV or contact Lucy Murphy on (phone number removed)
