Job Specification – Sales Executive (Plastics) Location: Halifax Salary: Up to £40,000 + Car/Bonus (Negotiable depending on experience) Sector: Plastics Manufacturing / Distribution Overview A well-established plastics manufacturer and supplier in Halifax is looking to recruit a driven Sales Executive to develop new business while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional looking to build a long-term career within a successful and growing business. Key Responsibilities • Generate new business opportunities across the UK plastics market. • Manage and develop existing customer accounts. • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and close sales. • Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable plastic products and solutions. • Build long-term relationships with customers through excellent service. • Work closely with production, technical and customer service teams. • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts. • Represent the business professionally at customer meetings and industry events. Candidate Requirements • Previous B2B sales experience (plastics industry experience desirable but not essential). • Strong communication and negotiation skills. • Commercially aware with the ability to identify opportunities. • Self-motivated with a proactive approach. • Confident managing multiple customer accounts. • Full UK Driving Licence. *** Candidates must be prepared to travel as this is essential for the role
