I'm working with a contractor that's landed a £2m, 12-month student accommodation scheme in York, and they need a Project Manager who wants to run the job properly from start to finish. The big selling point? This isn't a role where you'll be left doing the same thing for the next five years. The plan is for you to step into a more senior position once the project is successfully delivered, with larger schemes and greater responsibility already in the pipeline. The role: * Lead a £2m student accommodation project in York. * Manage the programme, subcontractors and client relationships. * Keep quality high, paperwork under control and projects moving. * Work closely with senior leadership rather than disappearing into a corporate machine. What they're looking for: * Experience delivering construction projects as a Project Manager. * Comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do. * Strong communication and organisation. * Someone with ambition who's looking for the next step, not just the next job.
