Synergy Personnel Ltd is currently recruiting 4 experienced Stone Fixers for a prestigious heritage restoration projectin Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project working on the restoration and repair of a historic building. Responsibilities * Fixing and installing natural stone in accordance with drawings and specifications * Carrying out stone repairs and replacements on heritage and listed buildings * Removing damaged stonework and preparing surfaces for new installations * Setting and bedding stone using traditional lime mortars and approved fixing methods * Installing ashlar stone, copings, cills, lintels, quoins, and other architectural stone features * Drilling, dowelling, pinning, and resin fixing stone where required * Cutting, shaping, and finishing stone to achieve an accurate fit * Pointing and making good using traditional lime mortars * Working safely at height from scaffolding where required * Maintaining a high standard of workmanship while preserving the historic character of the building * Following conservation guidelines and site health and safety procedures Requirements * Previous experience working on heritage or restoration projects is highly desirable * Ability to read drawings and work accurately to specification * Experience working with natural stone and traditional materials * Own hand tools * CSCS Card preferred but not essential * Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team What We Offer * Immediate start * Long-term contract * Competitive rates of pay * Opportunity to work on a prestigious heritage restoration project * Ongoing work for the right candidates If you're interested in this opportunity or would like further information, please attached your CV and one of our team will be in touch
