Quantity Surveyor Basingstoke  Salary: £50,000–£60,000 + Car Allowance Long-Term Project | Project Value up to £50m | Excellent Progression Opportunities An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established residential developer on a major long-term project valued at up to £50m. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven Quantity Surveyor looking for long-term stability, career progression and the chance to play a key role in a major residential development. What you’ll do: • Manage the commercial and financial performance of the project • Prepare cost plans, cash flows, forecasts and monthly cost reports • Procure and manage subcontractor packages, valuations and final accounts • Identify cost savings and value engineering opportunities • Manage commercial risks and subcontractor performance What we’re looking for: • HND, HNC or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction or a related discipline • RICS or CIOB membership, or working towards professional membership • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Contract Surveyor within residential construction • Strong procurement, subcontractor management and cost reporting experience • Good commercial awareness, numerical ability and negotiation skills • Knowledge of UK construction regulations and health & safety requirements • Experience with groundworks, piling, RC frame and brickwork would be advantageous What’s on offer: • £50,000–£60,000 salary + Car Allowance • Long-term project valued up to £50m • Excellent opportunities for career progression • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays If you’re an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent progression prospects and the chance to work on a significant residential project, this could be the perfect next step
