Depot Manager Borehamwood £50,000 to £55,000 + Company Car/Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday NEOS Engineering Recruitment are working with a well-established and highly respected plant & tool hire business who are looking to appoint an experienced Depot Manager to lead one of their busiest and most successful depots. The Role As Depot Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the depot, ensuring excellent customer service, commercial performance and operational efficiency. The depot hires a wide range of plant, tools and specialist equipment, operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Responsibilities Lead, motivate and develop the depot team. Drive hire revenue and maximise profitability. Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Ensure high standards of health & safety and compliance. Manage fleet utilisation, workshop and transport operations. Monitor KPIs, depot performance and service levels. Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business. About You Previous experience managing a plant hire, tool hire or equipment hire depot. Strong leadership and people management skills. Commercially aware with a focus on customer service. Comfortable working in a busy, transactional environment. Experience within plant & tool hire is highly desirable. This opportunity would particularly suit someone from a smaller, service-led hire business where plant and tool hire go hand in hand, rather than someone who has only operated within large heavy plant environments.
