TELEHANDLER / GATEMAN – COLEFORD Location: Coleford, Gloucestershire Pay Rate: £21.00 per hour Hours: 40–42.5 hours per week Duration: 2 weeks minimum – potential for longer Start Date: ASAP ITS Building People are currently looking for an experienced Telehandler / Gateman to join a busy construction site in Coleford. The Role This is a dual-role position combining Telehandler operation with Gateman duties. You will be responsible for safely moving materials around site while also managing the site entrance and assisting with deliveries and site traffic. Duties * Operating a Telehandler safely and efficiently * Loading, unloading and moving materials around site * Assisting trades and site management with material movements * Managing the site entrance and controlling access * Signing visitors and deliveries in and out of site * Directing delivery vehicles safely * Assisting with banksman/gateman duties when required * Keeping the site entrance and surrounding areas tidy * Carrying out daily checks on the Telehandler * Following all site health & safety procedures Requirements * Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket * Previous Telehandler experience on construction sites * Previous Gateman/Banksman experience is desirable * Good understanding of site health & safety * Full PPE * Reliable and punctual * Good communication skills * Able to work effectively as part of a site team Job Details 📍 Location: Coleford, Gloucestershire 🚜 Role: Telehandler / Gateman 💰 Pay Rate: £21.00 per hour ⏰ Hours: 40–42.5 hours per week ⏱️ Duration: 2 weeks minimum – potential for longer 📅 Start: ASAP If you are an experienced Telehandler/Gateman looking for work in the Coleford area, please get in touch with ITS Building People today
