Site Manager

CNX Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected construction contractor for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a refurbishment works in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project with a secure pipeline of work through to the end of 2026, managing the delivery of a high-quality development from the construction phase through to completion. The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include: * Managing site operations and subcontractors * Ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance at all times * Coordinating daily activities to maintain programme milestones * Monitoring quality and ensuring all works meet specification * Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and inspections * Liaising with the project team, consultants and subcontractors * Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress * Managing site logistics and resolving day-to-day operational issues Requirements * Proven experience as a Site Manager on major construction projects * Strong knowledge of commercial developments would be highly advantageous * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates * Excellent leadership and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme * Strong focus on health & safety and quality delivery What's on Offer * Ongoing contract * Opportunity to work on a flagship development * Immediate start available * Supportive and professional project team If you're an experienced Site Manager looking for your next long-term opportunity in Edinburgh, we'd like to hear from you.
