Traffic Marshall – Reading Location: Reading, Berkshire Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive, based on experience About the Role We are looking for a reliable and vigilant Traffic Marshall to join our team on construction projects across Reading and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is safety-conscious, enjoys working outdoors, and is committed to maintaining a safe and efficient site. Key Responsibilities * Safely directing the movement of vehicles and plant equipment on site. * Managing deliveries and coordinating vehicle access and egress. * Guiding drivers and ensuring pedestrian safety at all times. * Communicating effectively with site management, drivers, and operatives. * Monitoring site entrances and controlling traffic flow. * Carrying out daily safety checks and reporting any hazards or incidents. * Ensuring all work is carried out in line with site health and safety procedures. Requirements * Previous experience as a Traffic Marshall or Banksman is preferred. * Must hold a valid Traffic Marshall/Banksman qualification. * Good understanding of construction site health and safety. * Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
