Hoist Driver – Reading Location: Reading, Berkshire Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive, based on experience About the Role We are looking for a reliable and experienced Hoist Driver to join our team on construction projects across Reading and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is safety-conscious, dependable, and experienced in operating construction hoists on busy sites. Key Responsibilities * Safely operating passenger and goods hoists in accordance with site procedures. * Transporting personnel, tools, and materials efficiently across the site. * Carrying out daily pre-use inspections and reporting any defects or maintenance issues. * Ensuring the hoist is operated safely and within its load capacity. * Communicating effectively with site management, operatives, and delivery teams. * Maintaining a clean and safe working area around the hoist. * Following all site health and safety regulations and company procedures. Requirements * Previous experience operating construction hoists. * Must hold a valid Hoist Operator ticket (CPCS or NPORS). * Valid CSCS Card. * Good understanding of construction site health and safety. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. * Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
