Panel Wirer

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Panel Wirer on behalf of a well-established manufacturer serving the Defence, Industrial, Aviation, Rail, Medical, Scientific, and Oil & Gas sectors. Based at their Birmingham production facility, you will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of a range of electrical products, from lighting systems through to complex control and distribution panels. Key Responsibilities: * Wiring and assembly of electrical control panels and cabinets * Point-to-point wiring and cable routing * Crimping, terminating, and soldering cables and components * Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and GA drawings * Mechanical and electrical assembly work * Working to high quality and safety standards * Supporting testing and fault-finding activities where required Essential Requirements: * Previous experience in panel wiring or control panel assembly * Experience with cable termination, crimping, and soldering * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics * Experience with point-to-point wiring and cable routing * Ability to work independently and deliver work to specification Desirable: * IPC Class 3 / IPC 620 experience * Prototype or development wiring experience * Basic electrical testing experience Working Hours: * Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00 * Friday: 07:30 – 12:30 Benefits: * Competitive salary * Overtime opportunities * Company pension * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Christmas shutdown period Important: Due to the nature of the work and security requirements, applicants must be British Citizens and must not hold dual nationality.
