Project Engineer – HS2 Location: Aylesbury Package: Competitive salary + uplift + accommodation/travel + benefits The Role You will coordinate engineering delivery across complex earthworks packages, ensuring technical compliance, buildability, and efficient sequencing. Key Responsibilities * Managing engineering documentation, QA, and technical assurance * Reviewing designs, temporary works, and method statements * Leading inspections and ensuring compliance with HS2 standards * Coordinating with designers, subcontractors, and client teams * Supporting programme development, risk management, and reporting * Providing technical guidance to Site Engineers Requirements * Strong civil engineering background on major civils projects * Experience managing engineering delivery for earthworks or structures * Solid understanding of temporary works and geotechnical interfaces * Strong stakeholder management skills Benefits * Major UK infrastructure project * Long‑term career development * Accommodation/travel support * Progression to Senior Engineer
