HGV Class 2 Refuse Collection Driver – Gloucester 📍 Location: Gloucester 💷 Pay Rate: £17.05 per hour 🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 06:45 – 15:00 📅 Start Date: Immediate starts available! We're currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Refuse Collection Drivers to join a busy and friendly team in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing, full-time work, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate. What You'll Be Doing * Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on planned routes. * Working alongside the refuse collection team to complete daily collections safely and efficiently. * Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures. What's on Offer * £17.05 per hour * Monday to Friday – no weekend work * Early starts with early finishes (approximately 06:45 – 15:00) * Ongoing work with the opportunity to become permanent * Immediate starts available Requirements To be considered, you'll need: * A full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence * A valid Driver CPC qualification * A valid Digital Tachograph Card * No more than 6 penalty points (depending on the offence code) * Ideally, a minimum of 1 year's Category C licence holding * Previous Class 2 driving experience If you're a reliable and safety-conscious Class 2 driver looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent hours and competitive pay, we'd love to hear from you.
