Senior Software Developer Hybrid – 1 day a month in Ipswich Salary: Up to £75,000 DOE We’re working with an innovative technology organisation that is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative agile environment where you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing a market-leading SaaS platform. You’ll be hands-on with new feature development, technical improvements, architecture decisions, and helping drive engineering best practices across the team. You’ll work closely with developers, testers, product owners, and technical leads to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions while also supporting the development of other engineers through mentoring and code reviews. Key skills and experience required: * Strong commercial experience with C# and modern .NET / .NET Core * Experience building scalable web applications and APIs * Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns * Experience with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks such as React or Vue * Strong cloud experience, ideally with AWS * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices * Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK * Experience developing serverless applications (e.g. AWS Lambda) * Experience integrating with third-party services via APIs * Comfortable working with Git and modern development workflows * Understanding of secure coding practices and application performance Nice to have: * Experience with TDD / BDD / DDD * Knowledge of security standards and compliance environments * Experience with observability tools such as Elastic APM or Datadog * Experience with AI applications, Python, data analytics, or CRM integrations This role offers the chance to make a real technical impact within a forward-thinking engineering team, with flexible working, excellent benefits, and strong opportunities for career development.
