We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Structural Engineering consultancy in the South West, which is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, and insurance-related work, as well as new-build developments. Key Responsibilities Produce structural calculations, drawings, and technical details Work on projects from concept through to completion Projects include Residential extensions, loft conversions, and refurbishments New build developments (including multi-million-pound schemes) Insurance-related structural works (subsidence, fire, flood damage) Heritage and traditional buildings alongside modern construction Liaise with architects, contractors, and clients Attend site visits as required Requirement 3–4 years’ post-graduate experience in structural engineering Degree qualified (recognised by IStructE or ICE) Experience with software such as Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, Robot (or similar)AutoCAD and/or Revit knowledge advantageous Good understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and within a team Full UK driving licence and own transport Package & Benefit Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Hybrid working (office and home-based) Varied and interesting project workload Supportive and friendly team environment Generous holiday allowance Apply Now If you are a motivated Structural Engineer looking to develop your career within a dynamic consultancy, we would like to hear from you
