Quality Technician

Our client is looking to recruit a Quality Technician to join their manufacturing facility near Alfreton. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality across multiple manufacturing departments. The successful candidate will work closely with production and quality teams to ensure compliance with quality plans, identify non-conformances, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities will include: * Conduct quality checks on products currently being manufactured across all departments, including Extrusion, Butt Fusion and assembly * Follow standard work instructions to inspect each item in line with the defined Quality Plan. * Escalate any non-conformances immediately to the QA Lab Team Leader. * Complete all required quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner. * Raise Non-Conformance Material Reports * Raise SSR cards when risks or near misses are identified. * Support manufacturing teams with investigations and corrective actions where required. Our client is looking for someone who has:- * Previous experience of working with Quality Control (ideally within manufacturing) * Attention to detail * Experience in using measuring equipment (Calipers) * Excellent communication skills This role is Monday-Friday, 38hours per week
