Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who specializes in mission critical turnkey solutions. Employing over 750 professionals and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centre’s, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently looking for a Project Director to join them on a Data Centre project in the Netherlands. The Ideal Project Director Will Be Responsible For: * Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the successful delivery of complex data centre projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, contractual obligations, and company goals. * Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring key milestones, quality standards, budgets, and timelines are achieved. * Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including construction, commercial, design, planning, procurement, and HSEQ functions, fostering a high-performance culture. * Act as the primary point of contact for the client and key stakeholders, managing relationships, expectations, and communication to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. * Take full responsibility for project governance, commercial performance, risk management, and compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements. * Monitor project progress and proactively address any deviations, challenges, or risks through timely decision-making and corrective action in collaboration with senior leadership. * Champion health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across the project, ensuring they are embedded into all aspects of planning and delivery. * Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices across project delivery, contributing to organisational learning and future project optimisation. You Will Need: * Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field. * 15+ years of experience in large-scale construction projects, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. * Proven ability to manage complex projects and teams in Germany or Europe. * Excellent project management skills, with experience in delivering projects on time and within budget. * Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project). * Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
