GP – Prison Healthcare (Manchester) We’re currently seeking a prison-cleared GP to support the healthcare team within a prison setting in Greater Manchester. This role offers the chance to make a real difference by delivering essential primary care services to individuals with diverse and often complex health needs. The role * Deliver GP-led clinics to residents across the prison * Diagnose, treat and manage a broad range of health conditions * Support the management of long-term illnesses and urgent presentations * Work alongside nurses, mental health practitioners and wider healthcare teams * Ensure safe and effective prescribing and clinical decision-making What we’re looking for * Full GMC registration and licence to practise * Current prison clearance (CTC or equivalent) * Background in primary care, urgent care or prison healthcare * Strong communication skills and a resilient, flexible approach Contract details * Location: Prison in Greater Manchester * Hours: Full time or part time considered * £100.00 per hour * Flexible contract length with immediate start available If you’re a prison-cleared GP interested in opportunities in Greater Manchester, we’d love to hear from you
