The job
CCI DELIVERY LTD is looking for a Delivery Driver in Basingstoke.
This is a hands-on driving role delivering parcels to homes and businesses in the local area. You will be out on the road most of the day, so you need to be reliable, organised and comfortable working on your own. We need someone who can keep to a schedule, drive safely and give good service to customers.
What you'll do
Load your vehicle and plan your route for the day
Deliver parcels safely and on time across Basingstoke and nearby areas
Check delivery details and use a phone or handheld device to update each stop
Handle parcels with care and follow the correct process for proof of delivery
Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any faults or issues
Keep your work area and vehicle clean and tidy
Follow road safety rules and company procedures at all times
Deal with customers politely and professionally
What we're looking for
A full UK driving licence with the right to drive in the UK
Good knowledge of local roads in and around Basingstoke would help
Previous delivery driving or multi-drop experience is useful, but not essential
Good time management and the ability to work to deadlines
Able to lift and move parcels safely
Comfortable using a smartphone or delivery app
Reliable, punctual and able to work without close supervision
A polite and helpful approach with customers and colleagues
